The moll FAQ covers the questions we most often hear from our customers relating to topics such as shipping and guarantees.

Do you ship to other African countries (outside South Africa)?
Yes, we do! Please get in touch with us by email (info@ergokonzept.co.za) or WhatsApp (+27 68 531 0940) to discuss the details and establish shipping costs.
What are lead times on items that are not in stock?
We try to keep as many variants as possible, and in particular popular variants, in stock in Johannesburg.
Nonetheless, at times, we may not have items in the colour you’re looking for, or we have sold out on certain variants.
Please send us an email to inquire about lead times in that case – we typically have a new container arriving every 12 weeks, and can also arrange for our logistics company to quote on air freight for urgent deliveries.
Do Moll's products come pre-assembled?
Moll’s products are generally supplied as flat-pack furniture, which ensures that the products are better protected during transport and that freight is more environmentally friendly.
Of course, there is also nothing more fun for your children than building their desk with mom or dad – and all you need is an Allen key (which we ship with the products) and some Lego building skills to read simple illustrated instructions.
In Gauteng, we do offer assembly on site / shipment of assembled items at our discretion. Should you stay outside of Gauteng and require delivery of assembled items, please contact us to confirm shipping costs.
Please note that the Champion CP Express, T1, T2 and T7 models are shipped fully assembled by default.
How does Moll's five year manufacturer's warranty work?
Moll ensures that all its products meet the highest quality standards. Design and manufacture is done in Germany. The company builds on its legacy and reputation that go back over 90 years.
As a result, in addition to any warranties consumers enjoy as a result of consumer protection legislation, moll Funktionsmöbel GmbH offers a 5 years manufacturer’s warranty. It covers manufacturing defects and any issues relating to the functionality of materials and product parts.
Please refer to the details of our returns policy, as well as the manufacturer’s warranty policy of Moll Funktionsmöbel GmbH in Germany, to note the terms and conditions, as well as exclusions from the warranty.
Exclusions cover, for instance, the costs of setting up replacement products, any naturally-occurring cracks in our solid wood products, consequential damages, normal wear-and-tear, and damage to products caused by negligence or acts by our customers.
What is Moll's 5-year Availability Guarantee?
Moll’s desks are designed in a modular fashion to allow our customers to expand study setups over time, for instance by adding drawers, extensions, and shelf units. Moll guarantees the availability of modules that are compatible with your desks for five years after your purchase.
What desk widths do you offer?
Moll’s desks typically come in four basic widths: for the Sprinter, Winner and Champion ranges, the desks are either ~90 or ~120cm wide. The T1 is available in 120cm and 150cm, the T2 in 120cm, and the T7 range comes in a ~115 and ~150cm width.
Remember that many of our desks offer side extension modules – Side Tops measuring 40cm can be installed on either (or both) sides of the Sprinter, Winner, Champion, and T2 range.
Do you really manufacture everything in Germany?
moll is proud of the fact that all design and wood happens at its factory in Germany, and bar very few small exceptions, materials, paints, fabrics and profiles are supplied by German suppliers. Of course, at all times, we ensure that only the highest quality standards are met.
